American Red Cross Standard First Aid with Adult CPR allows participants to take a hands on approach responding to an emergency, checking a scene for safety, avoiding blood borne pathogens, activating emergency services via 911, and caring for the seriously ill, injured, unconscious, not breathing, pulse less, and choking victim. Participants will experience an engaging lecture, demonstrations, and hands on training with manikins including CPR, rescue breathing, bleeding control, splinting and treating for shock. Time: 10:00AM to 5:00PM including testing. Includes 1 hour lunch break. Requirements: Participants will be required to complete practical training which may involve working on the floor. Participants will also complete a written exam following the course. All participants will receive an Adult CPR Skills Card, First Aid Skills Card and Participant Book. Cost: $40
Participants who successfully pass all practical skill stations and written exam will receive the American Red Cross First Aid Certification valid for 3 years and American Red Cross Adult CPR Certification valid for 1 year.

All participants will receive an Adult CPR Skills Card and Participant Book. Cost: $30

American Red Cross First Aid allows participants to take a hands on approach responding to an emergency, checking a scene for safety, avoiding blood borne pathogens, activating emergency services via 911, and caring for the seriously ill or injured victim. Participants will experience an engaging lecture, demonstrations, and hands on training including bleeding control, splinting and treating for shock. Time: 2:00PM to 5:00PM including testing. Requirements: Participants will be required to complete practical training which may involve working on the floor. Participants will also complete a written exam following the course. All participants will receive a First Aid Skills Card and Participant Book. Cost: $26
Participants who successfully pass all practical skill stations and written exam will receive the American Red Cross First Aid Certification valid for 3 years.
Recertification is offered to individuals who currently are in possession of an American Red Cross Adult CPR or American Red Cross First Aid card that has expired. Proof of certification is required to complete a recertification course. Participants will be required to complete all practical skill stations and written exams. Participants are asked to review course material or ask questions prior to the exam period as Recertification Fees are NON-Refundable. Recertification testing will take place on March 19, 2005 in Batterson Multi-Purpose Room at the following times and costs: Standard First Aid with Adult CPR: CPR at 12:00PM - 1:00PM; First-Aid at 4:00PM - 5:00PM.
Adult CPR Recertification: 12:00PM - 1:00PM.
